Richard James Garner Sr.'s Obituary
Richard James Garner, Sr. of Federalsburg passed away at UMSMC at Easton on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was 40.
He was born on September 10, 1973 in Washington, D.C. son of Richard N. Garner, Jr. and Wendy Mittleman Garner of Federalsburg.
Rick was an electrician. He had a love for sports and was a devoted fan of the Denver Broncos, Washington Capitals, the Baltimore Orioles and his favorite golfer was Phil Mickelson.
Besides his parents he is survived by his children, Richard J. “R.J.” Garner, Jr., Christopher S. Garner, and Brittney Garner all of Federalsburg, a sister, Jennifer Garner (Tim Clark) of Hurlock, two nephews, Bradley Garner and Ryan Clark both of Hurlock, dear cousins, Tracey Redmon (Tim), Jaime Betances (Liz), Janelle Cooper, Casey Jones (Arianne), and Dustin Jones (Kim), and best friends since childhood, Thomas “Tommy” Liston and Kevin Mahmot.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Union United Methodist Church in Federalsburg with Rev. Dan Gedman officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery. Friends may call at the Framptom Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-9 p.m. and from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to Park Lane Church of God, P.O.
