Richard W. Collins' Obituary
Richard W. Collins died at his home in East New Market on Friday, March 9, 2012. He was 60.
He was born in Cambridge, MD on December 2, 1951 the son of Walter R. and Emily Moore Collins of Secretary, MD.
He was a graduate of North Dorchester High School in 1969 and worked for H& M Bay Carriers in Federalsburg as an office manager. He was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church Reliance where he served in several areas as needed.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Cathy Coulbourne Collins, a son, Jason L. Collins of Seaford, DE and three daughters, Carol E. Hubbard and her husband Mark of Reliance, MD and Courtney A. and Natalie J. Hurley of East New Market, three grandchildren, Anna Elise Hubbard, Pamela Alice Hubbard and Maggie Carol Hubard, three brothers, C. Russell Collins of Secretary, MD, Bruce L. Collins and his wife Wendy of Cambridge, MD and Thomas M. Collins and his wife Gale of Secretary, a nephew, Walt Collins and two nieces, Kristin Wheatley and Tiffany Collins.
Memorial service for him will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Secretary with Rev. James Penuel and Rev. David Kreek officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m..
