I just heard the passing of this dear man. He was wonderful, I am devistated by the nees of this.
I remember Bob as a man always willing to help out with anything. Bob was a great Den leader in Cub Scouts which is where I got to know him and his family. What a loss. He was a great man always had something nice to say or words of encouragement. My thoughts and prayers go out to Sue and the boys.
I first met Pastor Bob in the fall of 2012.....a few months before we were to go bring our daughter home from China. He had heard our family was adopting for the 3rd time and reached out to us....told us his church wanted to help us bring our little girl home. From the moment I met him, he was like an old friend. I could tell how much he loved the Lord He adored children and always took time to talk with all of them. He was so happy that his church was going to be able to help us. After that, we would drop in to his church from time to time with our girls and we were always greeted with open arms and Pastor Bob's smiling face. Our girls looked forward to seeing him too. Pastor Bob will be so missed, but we know where he is and we know we will see him again in glory. Our family will be lifting your family in prayer over the coming weeks and days. God bless!
I met bob a couple weeks before he was ordained to become a pastor, I had been to another church but when I met him and his family I knew I would be staying, he was a wonderful person and preached gods word. my family started coming and they loved him. our thoughts and prayers will be with sue and the boys.
I first met pastor bob king about 13 years ago, he was driving my father home from church late one week nite. he asked me if I went to church and I told him that I havnt been since I was 12 years old, he asked me to come to his church in secretary and give it a try, that he would be preaching there, I told him that I would. bob made every thing very clear in his preaching so that I could understand what he was talking about, he treated me as if he knew me and made me feel at ease inside the church. I thought alot of bob king and I will miss him very much, he was truly a good man and pastor, im so glad that I knew him.
Working with Bob at Verizon was a pleasure. He was always willing to lean a hand. You could tell Bob was a special person and a valuable member of the Verizon family. He was one of those rare folks who seemed able to show their beliefs. He will be missed. Condolences to his family and friends.

I always enjoyed conversations with Bob at Rathell farm equipment. From faith, to family and even farming; we covered it all. You're missed and loved Bob but are now with our creator, our father, our savior in heaven. See ya there, Bob.
Pastor Bob always had a welcoming smile and a hug for everyone who walked thru the door at church. Always ready to listen and help everyone. He will be so missed by all the church family. Deepest sympathy to Mrs. Sue and sons Josh and Justin and other members of his family. Reverend Bob was "one of a kind". God Bless you all.

Pastor Bob officiated the marriage of my son,Ryan and Ashley on May 7,2016. I had never met him before the day of rehearsal for the wedding. He and his wife were extremely friendly and very welcoming. He gave me a business card with his name and phone no. and told me to call him if I ever needed anything and most of all invited our family to join there church service anytime we wanted to. My son spoke very highly of him as a pastor and friend. My sincere thoughts and prayers to his family and friends....,
