Robert C. Dabroski
St. Michaels: Robert “Bobby†Dabroski of St. Michaels, died suddenly on Friday, October 7, 2011. He was 47.
Born May 1, 1964, he was the son of the late Augustus and Winifred Dabroski. Bob grew up in N.J. Following graduation from Johnson & Wales Culinary Institute he worked as a Chef at re-knowned restaurants & country clubs in N.J.,N.Y. & MD, finally settling in St. Michaels. In addition to his passion for cooking, Bob was an accomplished drummer, singer/songwriter & played in several bands. He served as the Cantor for Sts. Peter & Paul parish and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Bob also was an avid history buff. Bob liked to live large and enjoyed life to the fullest & will be sadly missed by all he touched.
He is survived by three siblings; Mary Dabroski, and her partner Jane, Michael Dabroski all of St. Michaels, Winifred Cabelus, and her husband Dave of New Hope, Pa., Aunt Peg Collins of N.J. and many close personal friends especially T.L. Jones, Mike McCue, Danny Hicks, Danny Kilmon & Patti Diamond, also many nieces nephews & cousins.
A memorial mass for the dead will be celebrated at the St. Michaels Catholic Mission Chapel, Lincoln Ave. on, saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00AM.
Burial will be private.
Donations may be made to the St. Michaels Fire Department 1001 S. Talbot St. St. Michaels, Md. 21663.
