Robert W. Lambert
St. Michaels, Robert Wayne “Bob†Lambert, of St. Michaels, died at the Memorial Hospital at Easton on Sunday, September 18, 2011. He was 57.
Born on April 15, 1954 in Wilmington DE., He was the son of the late Avery and Sally J. Jones Lambert. After graduating from St. Michaels High School in 1973, Bob enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served our country honorably for more than ten years. Following his release from active duty he returned to Talbot County where he worked as a house painter, for Jerry’s Painters in Easton. Later he did landscaping and yard work with his father and finally worked part-time at the Acme Markets in St. Michaels until he retired for health reasons.
He was a member of the E.E. Streets Memorial post 5118 V.F.W Easton, Md. Bob will be remembered for his great passion for fishing.
Bob is survived by tree siblings; Nancy Morgan of Lincoln, DE; Kenneth Lambert (Henrietta) of Hampton, VA; and Elizabeth T. Gowe (Larry) of McDaniel. Three nieces; Jackie Hollingsworth (Michael), Sara Tyler, Meghaan Lane (Patrick) four Great nieces & nephews; Tiffany Hollingsworth- Broome, Michael Hollingsworth II, Shannon Hollingsworth, Mark Hollingsworth and his very best friend Joe Hall of St. Michaels. A memorial service will be held at the Tilghman United Methodist Church, Tilghman, Md. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 2PM
Burial will be private.
