Robert E. Moore, Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Edward Moore, Sr., of Georgetown, DE passed at his home on Friday, May 27, 2016. He was 66.
He was born on May 9, 1950 in Federalsburg, the son of the late James Franklin Moore and Gladys Mae Tull Moore.
Robert worked very diligently in the Poultry Industry. and worked up the ranks to become plant manager. He was a Green Bay Packers fan, an old car enthusiast, enjoying going crabbing, watching old westerns and listening to the oldies with his favorite singer being Elvis.
Robert was a compassionate man, who was truly a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved his family dearly and adored his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Dulcei “Candy” S. Tumala Moore, two sons, Robert Moore, Jr. and his wife, Irma of Greenwood, Daniel Moore of Georgia, a step-son, Nick Yeh of Georgetown, two grandchildren, Victoria Ann Moore and Christopher Moore both of Georgetown, an adopted brother, David Smock and his wife, Karen of Harrington and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott E. Moore, and seven siblings, Dallas Moore, Sleepy Moore, Jr., Helen Christopher, Margaret Short, Naomi Collins, Otis Summers, Clayton Sommers, and his uncle, Harrison Moore.
Funeral services for him will be held at 1 p.m.on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Buddy Dunn officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Georgetown.
