Robert N. Patrick Sr.'s Obituary
Robert “Bob” N. Patrick Sr., 83, of Laurel, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at Delmar Nursing Home.
He was born in Preston, Md. on June 27, 1933, the son of the late Nelson D. Patrick and Edna Mae Cheezum Patrick.
After graduating, he served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for the Department of Agriculture as a food inspector, retiring in 1988. Bob was a former member of Easton VFW Post #5118 and Shiloh Community Church in Laurel.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Elizabeth Good Patrick; three children, Robert N. Patrick Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Preston, Md., Pam M. Patrick of Rhode Island, and Douglas S. Patrick of Laurel; five grandchildren, Scott Patrick, Keith Daniel Patrick, Mark A. Patrick, Lisa Durham, and Brian Patrick; five great-grandchildren, Katelyn Patrick, Cole Patrick, Hunter Durham, Cooper Patrick and Emerson Durham; a sister, Darlene Breeding and her husband Gary of Salisbury, Md., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William E. Patrick.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, Md., with the Rev. Mark Erskine officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be held privately at Junior Order Cemetery, Preston.
