Robert Richardson's Obituary
Robert R. Richardson of Federalsburg died as a result of injuries suffered in a pedestrian accident on Friday, October 8, 2010. He was 78.
He was born in Detroit, MI on Feb. 18, 1932 the son of the late Arthur R. Richardson and Winifred G. Roberts Richardson.
He was a grain and poultry farmer for many years and was very active in many farm related activities. He worked as a manager for the Public Drainage Association for over 50 years, was a member of the Farm Bureau, the Delmarva Poultry Industry, and many other farm related committees for Caroline County. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church. He was a man who loved his family and spending time with them.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Elizabeth “Kibby” Truitt Richardson whom he married January 15, 1953 and three children, Kimberly R. Love and her husband Robert and R. Michael Richardson and his wife Sheila both of Federalsburg and Kelly L. Henry and her husband Alan of Salisbury, 7 grandchildren, a sister, Dorothy Krueger of Medina, OH and several nieces and nephews and Sugar his black lab he rescued from the animal shelter.

Funeral services for him will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with Rev. Denzil Cheek, Rev. Anthony Stephens and David Moneymaker officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and also on Wednesday from noon to 1:00 p.m.
The family has requested that donations be made in his memory to Federalsburg Volunteer Fire Company P. O. Box 99 Federalsburg, MD 21632.
