Robert W. Rieck's Obituary
Robert William Rieck passed away suddenly at home in Denton on Friday, December 29th. He was 73.
Born September 26, 1950, he was the son of the late Robert Emil Rieck and Roselle Corkran Rieck of Preston.
He was a 1969 graduate of Colonel Richardson High School.
Bobby has worked a few different jobs over the years ranging from farming to concrete work to helping set up products at vendor events.
Bobby had a great love for music and enjoyed following a few different local bands. He was a collector of all things "John Deere". He loved showing off his lawnmowers at the annual Thresherman's Show. He could usually be found occupied with his toy train sets or caring for his beloved chickens.
Bobby never met a stanger. He had a huge selfless heart. He loved to stop by just to smile and say "hi" and offer conversation or just to compliment someone to make their day a little better.
He is survived by his sisters Sharlene Rieck Steere of Hebron and Melissa Rieck Phillips of Preston. There were many other family and friends that loved and cared for him also.
Private burial service will be held at the Junior Order Cemetery in Preston.
