Always enjoyed talking to Mr. Bobby when he came to the bank. I will always treasure the baseball card that he gave to me. What a great man and i know he will be missed by all.
We are so saddened to learn of Bobby's passing! Sorry we were not able to be with the family as we were attending a family graduation from Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, Florida. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the families and friends! We love you all!
Wow.This gentleman def left his mark on all level of sports and will never be
forgotten.He had a serious demeanor,while combing his knowledge of rules,wit and fairness.He was a great friend and mentor.My deepest sympathy to all the children whom he was so proud of.R.I.P.with Joan now.
Was a spectator, coach and for five years a fellow referee at games Bobby officiated. For years he did three sports while the rest of us had trouble keeping up with one. Occasionally in error, but never in doubt about a call, I believe he officiated more games at more levels than anyone else on the Shore.
It would be hard to measure how many young lives he touched.
If the disciples decide to organize a pick-up game, I have no doubt about who they will have making the calls.
