Robert Wade Watkins' Obituary
Robert Wade Watkins of Bridgeville, DE died Friday, Sept. 26, 2009 in Bridgeville, De. He was 40 years old.
He was born June 11, 1969 in Easton, MD the son of Gerald G. Watkins of Preston, MD and Linda Schmick Chambers of Federalsburg, MD.
He owned and operated R & W Construction & Sons as a General Contractor. He enjoyed baseball and drawing.
Besides his parents he is survived by a son Alan Watkins of Bridgeville, three brothers Gary Beauchamp of Preston, Kevin Watkins of Seaford, DE and Brent Watkins of Laurel, DE, one sister Brandy Hatten of Harrington, DE, his companion Rosita Brady of Bridgeville, DE, maternal grandmother Geneva Schmick of Federalsburg and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Levin T. and Edna Watkins, and maternal grandfather Robert Schmick.
Funeral services will be held on Wed. Sept. 30, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in McKendree Cemetery near Rhodesdale, MD. Friends may call 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.
