Robin Cline Mitchell's Obituary
Robin Lynne Cline Mitchell, age 71, was called home to the Lord on July 3, 2026. Born and raised in Damascus, Maryland, Robin was a truly creative soul who brought joy, beauty, and art into the world.
As a professional artist and art teacher, she had a real passion for both her art and her students. She cared deeply for the people she taught and loved helping them find their own creative voices. When she didn't have a paintbrush or piece of chalk in hand, Robin was a ravenous reader who always had her nose in a book.
She also absolutely loved music and dancing. For 24 wonderful years, Robin shared her life with her loving partner, Ray Kingsley, who affectionately called her "Ness"-short for Sweetness. Whenever a band was playing, the two of them would stay out on the dance floor together until the music stopped.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Lee and Lois Evelyn Cline (nee Watkins), and her brothers, Michael Lee Cline and Douglas Wade Henley. She leaves behind her devoted life partner, Ray, her dear niece, Kelly Eshelman of Northern Cambria, PA, and a legacy of art, kindness, and wonderful memories in the hearts of her students, friends, and loved ones.
As per Robin's wishes, there will be no services.
