Rodney R. Pitt's Obituary
Rodney R. Pitt of Baltimore, MD, formerly of Federalsburg, passed away on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He was 46.
He was born Jan. 27, 1962 in Heidelberg, Germany the son of Catherine Vickers of Federalsburg and Fletcher Pitt of Philadelphia, PA
He had worked at the Pillsbury Bakery as a machinist, and had worked at the former Preston 151 in the tire department, and had worked for Burris- Glacier in the warehouse. He was last employed in construction in Baltimore.
Besides his parents he is survived by his and step-father, Ernest Vickers of Federalsburg, 4 sisters, Darlene Dotson and Patricia Pitt, both of Federalsburg, Linda Hearns and Dorothy Newton, both of Titusville, FL, 4 brothers, Charles Pitt of Easton, MD, Thomas Pitt of Titusville, FL, Danny Pitt of Cleveland, Ohio, and Brian Pitt of Philadelphia, PA, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sat. Feb. 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD with Minister Betty Warner officiating. Inurnment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Preston, MD.
