Roland Thomas Draper, III's Obituary
Roland Thomas Draper, III of Federalsburg passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Tidal Health at Nanticoke in Seaford, Delaware. He was 67.
He was born on February 21, 1956 in Milford, Delaware, the son of the late Roland T Draper, Jr. and Charlotte Louise Jones Draper.
He was married to Barbara Adkins Draper on September 25, 1976.
He worked at Solo Cup in Federalsburg for many years. In his free time, you could find him tinkering on lawn mowers, cars or working in his yard. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, and watching You Tube. In his younger days, he was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Adkins Draper of 46 years, two children: Richard Draper and his wife Rebecca of Greenwood and Rena Draper of Federalsburg; five grandchildren: Destini and her partner Tim, Kaitlin and her partner Ryan Sr., Tyler, James and Summer; and two great grandsons: Kalvin and Ryan, Jr; and a sister Charlotte Draper of Federalsburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Diane Porter.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 1:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home with Pastor Peter Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00.
