Mr. Roland was one of the nicest men I have ever meet never heard a person to say otherwise worked so hard and took care of his family and friends God has gained another Angel

To the family of Roland Gross
It was many years ago that the Gross family came to Holland Mission Church on Chipmans Lane in Federalsburg Maryland. The church no longer stands but the memories live on. We had Sunday school every Sunday and on children’s day, Easter Sunday, Father’s day, Mother’s day and Christmas we were given speeches to recite.
The special treat was to hear the Gross Family sing. Daisy alto, Anna soprano, Thomas tenor and Roland bass. As the Reverend used to say they would set the church on fire. Everyone would be shouting whenever they sang and their mother Florence would say “Sing children sing”. I never knew them to miss a Sunday. We were a small church but God met us there every Sunday. There is no greater remedy to be ease the sorrow of today, than the remembrance of good friends and good times of yesterday. May God continue to bless, keep and comfort you through the loss of your brother.
As you walk through the time of loss, my you know that the Lord walks with you and he will comfort you.
