Ronald A. Nichols, Jr.
Hurlock, Ronald (Ronnie) Alan Nichols, Jr. passed away at home with his family by his side on 12-24-2015 at the age of 52.
He was born on July 1, 1963 to Ronald Alan Nichols, Sr. and Iris B. Rieck. A graduate of North Dorchester High School, he spent most of his adult life working on farms and working on farm equipment for Jones Implement and Atlantic Tractor. He was a member of Unity Washington United Methodist Church in Hurlock where he sang in the choir for a number of years. He most enjoyed helping on farms, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Ronnie married his wife, Rachael, on July 24, 1999 in Hurlock Maryland. Together they had 7 children, Christopher, Robert, Lorie, Tiffany, Ronald III, Brittany and Dannielle, their spouses and 11 beloved grandchildren, Brittani, Tyler, Lena, Abigail, Daniel, Cole, Riley, Savannah, Madelynn, Pyper and Kennedy.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie is survived by a sister; Connie Overington and husband Ed, a brother; Paul Nichols and wife Jackie, and his niece and nephews.
Also surviving him are his extended family members Donald Jones, Sr., Don Jones, Dennis Jones and Debbie Robbins of Atlantic Tractor where he worked until June of 2015.
Memorial services will be held on January 2, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 242 Main Street, Preston Maryland at 11am.
