Ronald Lee McBroom's Obituary
Ronald Lee McBroom of Harrington passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at his home. He was 33.
He was born on July 9, 1990 in Milford the son of Ronald H. "Skip" Payton, Jr and Laura Anne Hawkins and the stepson of Earl Mullens.
After his education, Ronnie worked as an appliance delivery and installer for many years. In his free time enjoyed fishing, tinkering around the house and yard sales with his mom. His greatest love was his family and his son, Levi.
He is survived his mother Laura Hawkins and her husband Earl Mullens of Greenwood, his girlfriend Amanda Nicholson of Harrington, his son Levi R. McBroom of Harrington, step children: Thomas Betz and Avery Walker; his siblings: Laura Lea McBroom, Christopher Phipps, Chris Mullens and Jeremy Mullens, maternal grandfather: John R. Hawkins, Sr., paternal grandparents: Ronald H. Payton, Sr. and Anna Mae Watkins Payton.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Laura Mae Lare Kujawa; maternal great-grandparents: Laura Lare Whittle and Tom Whittle.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 3:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home - Fleischauer Chapel in Greenwood with Pastor Tim Banks officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:00. Burial will be private.
