Rosemary Williamson's Obituary
Rosemary (Reader) Williamson, 85, of Milford, Delaware, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Seaford Center in Seaford.
Born on June 17, 1940, in Wilmington, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Francis Reader and Lauretta (Fox) Reader.
Rosemary graduated from Wilmington High School with the Class of 1959. She later married Paul Williamson, and together they built a life centered in Milford, Delaware. During their marriage, they spent a number of years living in California and Saudi Arabia before returning to Milford, where they made their permanent home. Paul preceded her in death on March 20, 2026.
She devoted many years of her life to working in the Milford School District cafeteria, where she was known for her kindness and for forming lasting connections with students over the years. Rosemary found great joy in spending time with her family and grandchildren, keeping in touch with friends, and was a longtime member of Calvary Methodist Church in Milford, where she worshipped alongside her husband.
She is survived by her son, Michael Travis Williamson and his wife Federica Simone of Manchester, England; and her stepsons, John Rexx Williamson and his wife Pam of Harrington, Delaware, and Scot A. Williamson and his wife Donna of Bridgeville, Delaware.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Andrew Williamson and his wife Taylor; Zachary Williamson and his wife Rachel; Colton Williamson and his partner Allie Hoffman; Hunter Williamson; and Penelope Williamson.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Reader; five brothers, Thomas Reader, David Reader, Dennis Reader, James Reader, and Francis Reader; and her sister, Shirley Deputy.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Framptom Funeral Home in Greenwood, with Pastor Will Walters officiating. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
