Ruth Ann Nichols Johnson's Obituary
Ruth Ann Nichols Johnson of Federalsburg, MD fell asleep in death at 7:30 a.m. at the Deer’s Head Hospital in Salisbury, MD on January 1, 2015. She was 72 years of age. Ruth was born on November 3, 1942 to the late Norman L. Nichols, Sr. and Ruth Eleanor Thomas Nichols, both of Federalsburg, MD. She was the 10th child born from the union between Norman Sr. and Ruth Eleanor. Four brothers and four sisters preceded Ruth in falling asleep in death. Those brothers and sisters were: Catherine, Henry, Pauline, Emerson, Mildred, Robert, Dorsey, and Minnie, all of whom are awaiting (as is Ruth) the day of resurrection.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Lisa Z. Wright and son-in-law James Wright of Denton, MD, three step-children, Tyrone Johnson, Shirley Johnson-Jones and Tony Johnson all of Seaford, DE, her biological sister, Louise McCullough and brother-in-law John McCullough of Federalsburg, MD, her brother, Norman L. Nichols, Jr. of Federalsburg. a Goddaughter, Malica Dunnock, of Bellcamp, MD, and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 28059 Seaford Rd., Laurel, DE 19956. Friends may call on Friday, January 9, 2015 and Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home.
