Ruth N. Wright's Obituary
Ruth Naomi Rose Wright of Federalsburg, MD passed away on Friday, May 11, 2007 at the Memorial Hospital at Easton, MD. She was 74 years old.
She was born Aug. 10, 1932 in Wye Mills, MD, the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Rose.
She worked along side her husband in farming and was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F. W. Post 5246 in Federalsburg.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dale Leslie Wright, Sr., whom she married on April 21, 1950, three children, Dale Leslie Wright, Jr. and his wife, Shirley, of Federalsburg, Jennifer Lister of Preston, and Gordon Wright, Sr. of Farmington, DE; five grandchildren, James Shockley, Shane Shockley, Melinda Lambert, Gordon Wright, Jr. and Trisha Wright; three great-grandchildren; three siblings, Dorothy Tarbutton of Dover, DE, Alice Crouch of Chester, MD, and Lee Rose, Sr. of Easton, MD, and several nieces and nephews. A brother, William Rose, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. A Ladies Auxiliary service will be held at 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow in Bloomery Cemetery near Federalsburg. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Shockley, Shane Shockley, Gordon Wright, Jr., Neal Lambert, Lee Rose, Jr. and John Crouch.
