Sampson Benjamin "Ben" Feyl, Jr.'s Obituary
Sampson Benjamin “Ben” Feyl, Jr. died at his home near Bridgeville, DE on Thursday, October 22, 2009. He was 65.
He was born in Hartley, DE on December 20, 1943 the son of the late Sampson B. Feyl, Sr and Olive Marie Tingle Feyl.
He was a graduate of Dover High School in 1961 and later served his country in the U S Navy from 1961 to 1964. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 5246 in Federalsburg.
He worked at Maryland Plastics in Federalsburg for 28 years retiring as traffic manager.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Ann Toomey Feyl, two daughters, Patricia Eigenbrode of Denton and Debra Brohawn of Federalsburg, a son, Michael A. Feyl of Seaford, a stepson, Tommy Blades of Seaford, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and five sisters, Doris Bose of Dover, DE, Barbara Spicher of Greensboro, Nancy Chavkin of San Marcas, TX, Kathy Conner of Newark, DE and Mary Golden of Helena, MT and a brother, Edward Feyl of Pottsville, PA and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for him will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating with committal following at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m..
The family has requested that donations be made in his memory to Relay For Life c/o Libby Fluharty 3469 American Corner Road Federalsburg, MD 21632.
