Sam was a devoted husband and father. He cherished moments around the table with his family. The "Bers", as he liked to call them, were his favorite months as he loved the holidays... the Lionel trains came out and the garland stringed lights were placed just in the right places by his hand. Home and hearth, country and faith were paramount to him. He loved Jesus. Sam's quiet, deep devotion guided and directed every aspect of his life; making him very impactful to family, friends, co-workers and students.
Sam could warm up any room in an instant and make everyone around him feel like the most important person in the world. He will never be forgotten and will have eternal life in heaven! Excelsior! John 3:16. FA77.
We can honor him the best by listening to the oldies and keeping life simple, KISS.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his name to Bible School for Special People, BSSP, Christ Lutheran Church, 315 N Shipley Street, Seaford, Delaware, 19973.
