Sara A. (Keys) Brandow's Obituary
Sara A. Brandow Easton, Sara Ann Keys Brandow of Wittman, died in the Palliative Care Unit at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center, Easton, on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 surrounded in the love of her children. She was 89. Born on July 11, 1924 in St. Michaels, she was the daughter of the late Walter S. and Mildred Hause Keys. Sara was raised and educated in St. Michaels until April 5, 1941 when she married Wm. Horace L. Brandow, from that time on they made their home in Wittman. There they raised their family. Mr. Brandow died on September 14, 1986. Sara was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, Great-grandmother, and Great-Great grandmother. She enjoyed her family and loved cook and bake for them. She was a friend to many, and enjoyed telling stories from the past, she especially liked a good laugh. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Brandow is survived by a son; William H. (Bubby) Brandow, and his wife Vivian of Wittman, two daughters; Elizabeth Ann Stinton, Betty Price and her husband David all of Easton, 8 Grandchildren, 14 Great-grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great granddaughters, one brother; George H. Keys of AZ. Sara was also survived by a sister; Jane K. Saunders of Easton, However she died the next day on April 10th also at U.M.S.M.C. Easton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter; Helen L. (Doll Baby) Brandow (Oct 19, 1962), a Great –granddaughter; Jordan W. Stinton (May 12, 1991) a son-in-law; Loma R. (Reds) Stinton (Nov. 1, 2009), two brothers; Walter H. (Sonny) Keys, and Harry B. Keys. Funeral services will be held at the Ostrowski Funeral Home, St. Michaels, on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 12:30PM. A viewing will be held at the Funeral Home today, from 4:00 to 6:00PM. Burial will be in the Olivet Cemetery, St. Michaels. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to University of Maryland Shore Medical Center, Easton, MD. 219S Washington St. attention: Palliative Care Unit.
