Sara Lamica's Obituary
Sara Wright Lamica of Dover, Delaware passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Daughter of Ernest E. and Anna M. Poole Wright of Federalsburg, MD, Sara was predeceased by three brothers, Gilbert Ernest 1902-1984, Claudel Ezekiel 1903-1979, and Philip Avery 1905-1994. Sara graduated in 1939 from Federalsburg High School. She attended college in Wilmington and working briefly in Philadelphia before returning to the Eastern Shore. Sara resided in Greenwood, DE and worked for the Delaware Electric Cooperative for over 25 years before moving to Westminster Village in Dover in 1996. She is survived by her three daughters Eleanor Ann of Lancaster, PA, Mary Ellen of Pittsburgh, PA and Jenny Lynn of Valley Forge, PA, a nephew Lennon Wright and his wife Kathy and their family of Georgetown, TX, and their children Lenny, April and Meredith. Sara will be laid to rest in Hill Crest Cemetery in the Wright Family Plot, Federalsburg, MD. In lieu of flowers, it was Sara's wish that contributions be made to the Federalsburg Historical Society, P.O. Box 84,Federalsburg, MD 21632.
