Sara V. Otto
Bozman, Sara Virginia “Sally†Otto, died at Compass Regional Hospice, Centreville, MD. On Saturday January 9, 2016. She was 73.
Born on September 2, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA; she was the daughter of the late Oscar F. and Virginia Shook Otto. Sally attended the Winchester Thurston School in Pittsburgh, graduating in 1960. She then attended MacMurry College, in Jacksonville Illinois where she graduated with a B.S. degree in Marine Biology. Sally worked briefly for the Federal Government. She later took a position with the D.N.R. at the Oxford Laboratory, Oxford MD. as a Marine Biologist, where she remained until her retirement.
Sally loved to read, she spent much of her non-working time reading, boating with her parents, and her many pets over the years. Later Sally enjoyed her Wednesday lunches with her friends from the Lab. Sally also enjoyed, with great enthusiasm being a member of the Talbot Little Theater.
Sally is survived by her many beloved friends A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Bozman, United Methodist Church, Bozman. MD.
Burial will be private.
