Saundra Mardella Thomas' Obituary
Saundra “Sandy” Bolden Thomas of Federalsburg, Maryland passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014. She was 65.
She was born on July 4, 1948 the daughter of Jean Rickets Bolden and the late Oswald Bolden.
Sandy attended Lockerman High School in Denton, Maryland. She was married to Arthur Nicholas and from this union they had two precious children, a son and a daughter. After her husband’s death she never married again.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Jean Bolden of Federalsburg, a son, Arthur Thomas (Anisa) of Glen Burnie, MD, a daughter, Carla Thomas of Federalsburg, MD, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a step-sister, Beatrice Craft of Federalsburg, sisters-in-law, Patsy Bolden, Darlene Nichols, of Federalsburg, Augustine Briggs of Federalsburg, and Diane Nichols of New Castle, DE, two nieces who she raised, Rosalyn Ricketts of North Carolina and Shenyene Wilson (Jaunte) of Smyrna, DE, a special friend Connie Gibson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Ricketts and Lynn Bolden, a brother, Jimmy Bolden, a step-sister, Ella Darden.
