Scott Sanders' Obituary
Scott Preston Sanders passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at his home in Raleigh, NC. He was 52.
He was born on December 21, 1963 in Takoma Park, MD and was a son of James Sanders and Barbara Sanders.
He was a graduate of Colonel Richardson High School and North Carolina State University with a degree in environmental science. Scott enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.
He was employed as a soil analyst with E.C.S. Carolinas Engineering.
Scott is survived by his parents, James and Barbara Sanders; two sisters, Carole Gurney and Kimberly Ryan; two brother-in-laws, Don Gurney and Pat Ryan; seven nieces and nephews, Loren Heaps, Bobby Heaps, Brandon Gurney, Daniel Ryan, Alex Ryan, Kiersten Ryan, and Jordan Ryan.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bethesda United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 147, Preston, MD 21655.
