Shane Hallowell's Obituary
Shane K. Hallowell of Laurel, DE passed away at his home on Saturday, February 3, 2018. He was 42.
He was born in Easton, MD, on May 21, 1975, the son of Jeffrey Hallowell of Federalsburg and the late Linda Kenton Standiford.
Shane attended North Dorchester High School. He had worked previously for Chesapeake Machine Services with his stepfather in Delmar, DE and most recently worked at Eastern Shore Metals in Seaford. Shane was an avid Redskins Fan.
He is survived by his father, Jeffrey Hallowell and his wife, Wanda, his step-father, Kevin Standiford of Delmar, DE, two step-sisters, Heather Williamson and her husband, Michael of Federalsburg, and Kelly Standiford, one step brother, Michael Standiford, and several aunts, uncle, nieces, and nephews. Besides his mother he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, William Robert Hallowell, Sr. and Margaret Hallowell, Kenneth Kenton, and Hilda Kenton, a brother, John "Jay" Jones, Jr. and a sister, Stacey Jones Pence.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating.
