Shelly Marie Marine's Obituary
Shelly Marie Marine of Hurlock passed away on March 31, 2014 at her home. She was 53.
She was born on November 22, 1960 in Easton, MD, the daughter of Alec B. Nichols of Hurlock and the late Mary Lou Venable Nichols.
She graduated from North Dorchester High School with the class of 1978. She worked for the Lankford Farm near Preston and later was a private caregiver. She married Thomas Marine on September 19, 2009. She loved the outdoors; crabbing, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Marine of Hurlock, two sons, James Matthew Nichols and his wife, Crystal of Nevada, and Brandon Pollard and his wife, Melanie of Florida, and two grandchildren, Tony and Desi Nichols. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Dawn Nichols and a brother, Glen Nichols.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 1:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Howard “Buddy” Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations to defray funeral costs may be made to the Framptom Funeral Home, 216 North Main Street, Federalsburg, MD 21632.
