Sheridan Wayne Prue Jr. 's Obituary
Sheridan "Sherry" Wayne Prue, Jr. of Choptank passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at UMSMC at Easton surrounded by his loving family. He was 70.
He was born in Clarksville, TN on October 3, 1946, the son of the late Sheridan Wayne Prue, Sr. and Dora Benway Prue.
He served his country in the United States Navy in the Vietnam War. After the navy he worked many years in the saw mill industry. Sherry retired from Tudor Farms after 25 years of dedicated service. His family was the joy of his life. He was a waterfowl and fishing enthusiast, who shared his love for the outdoors as a Captain and hunting guide.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Holly Shearin Prue, five children, Steven Prue of Vermont, John Felts and his wife Crissy of Salisbury, Matthew Provost of Rhode Island, Wendy Cunningham and her husband Rob of Vermont, Tara Felts of Preston, 6 grandchildren, Brandon Simms, Julian Cunningham, Lauryn Felts, Olivia Prue, Benjamin Cunningham, Logan Cunningham, nine brothers and sisters, Jerry Prue, Larry Prue and his wife Virginia, Terry Wright and her husband John, Ira Prue and his wife Connie, Russell Prue, Holly Wilson and her husband, Richard, Susie Osborne and her husband, Mark, Nathan Prue, Neal Prue and his wife Stephanie, his in-laws, Paul and Hazel Willis, Earl and Gail Shearin, Harold and Ann Brown, and several beloved nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Prue, and two sisters, Sally Prue and Myla Hubbard.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Pastor Bob Mackert officiating. Interment will follow at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. A visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and from 12-1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
