Shirley Yvette Parker's Obituary
Shirley Yvette Parker of Falls Church, VA died on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax, VA. She was 59.
She was born on March 31, 1953 in Henrytown, Maryland daughter of Charles Parker, Jr. and the late Eleanor Emily Brummell Parker.
She was a 1971 graduate of Colonel Richardson High School. After graduating from high school, she was employed by the Memorial Hospital at Easton. She pursued her education in nursing at the Margaret Murray Washington Nursing College. After receiving her nursing degree, she excelled in the healthcare field.
Shirley will be sorely missed by many whose lives she touched. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her father, Charles Parker, Jr., one brother James (Ingrid) of Hurlock, MD, three sisters, Valerie of Upper Marlboro, MD; Maria (James) of Jonesboro, GA, Regina (Anthony) of Demorest, GA and her sister-in-law Rosetta Parker of Hurlock, MD and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a brother, Allen.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. with Rev. Willie Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Federal Hill Cemetery, Federalsburg, MD. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
