Steve A. Chupp's Obituary
Steve A. Chupp of Georgetown, DE, passed away at the age of 64 on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Christiana Care.
Steve was Born in Milford, DE on December 3, 1959, the son of the late Andrew Chupp and Eva Byler Chupp.
Steve graduated from Woodbridge High School with the class of 1977.
Steve was known for his skillful carpentry, specializing in custom kitchens. He married the love of his life, Marcia Mason on February 25, 2001, and they created a beautiful life together in Georgetown.
A man who cherished connection, Steve will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He found joy in cooking, grilling, and entertaining those close to him. When he wasn't woodworking, he could be found enjoying a good read or engaging in a rousing game of horseshoes. He enjoyed "Punkni' Chunkin" and was also an avid hunter and crabber.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Marcia Mason Chupp of Georgetown, two children: Danielle Nichole Chupp of Milford, and Adam Raymond Mason and his wife Sara of Phoenixville, PA; one grandson: Alex Timothy Mason, his mother-in-law Marilyn Mason of Georgetown, TX; and five siblings: Menno Chupp and his wife Dorothy of Greenwood, Evalina Kopp of Harrington, Andy Chupp and his wife Kathy of Georgetown, Lydia Trice and her husband Rick of Seaford, and Carl Chupp and his wife Susan of Greenwood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Molly Lauck.
A celebration of life service will be held at Gateway Fellowship Church in Bridgeville on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 1:00. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00.
