Steven Eugene Allen's Obituary
Steven Eugene Allen, affectionately known as "Pert" and "Expert," passed away peacefully at his home in Seaford on January 13, 2026. He was 60 years old. Born on February 1, 1965, Steven was the beloved son of the late Levin Roger and Alice Virginia Allen.
Steven had a special talent for fixing things-he could work on just about anything with remarkable skill and ingenuity. A dedicated heavy equipment operator, he carved out a career with Clyde Harding Logging in Eldorado before moving on to RJM Enterprises in Secretary.
Life was a grand adventure for Steven, who embraced every moment! He lived for good times, whether it was out in the field hunting, on the water fishing and crabbing in his younger years or tending to his flourishing garden later on. His green thumb was legendary among family and friends, and he took great pride in cultivating his plants, sharing their beauty with everyone around him.
He is survived by five nieces and nephews: Lisa Malkus and her husband Patrick of Cambridge, Johnny Allen of Harrington, Danny Allen and his wife Renea of Delmar, DE, Donna Eskridge and Glen Eskridge both of Seaford; and a nephew Zack Allen of Seaford.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings: Daniel O Allen, Sr., David W Allen and Patricia Allen Eskridge.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 7 at 2:00 at the Cokesbury Church Community Center in Rhodesdale, MD.
