Tammy G. Dykes' Obituary
Tammy G. Dykes, of Hurlock, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at her home. She was 54.
She was born on June 27, 1962 in Kentucky and was a daughter of the late William Busch and Chelsie Fouts Busch. On July 21, 2011, she married Warren Dykes, Jr.
During her early childhood years, Tammy moved to Essex, MD and later to the Eastern Shore, which she dearly loved. She was a homemaker and caregiver to anyone she met and no one was a stranger to her. She could often be seen cooking a meal or caught brightening someone else's day. Some of her favorite past times include fishing, riding motorcycles, swimming as well as relaxing by the swimming pool.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Dykes, Jr. of Hurlock, three children Netta Filicko (Alden Morris) of Fruitland, Michelle Dykes (Damon Martin) of Brooklyn, and Warren Dykes, III (Sarah Walters) of Salisbury; seven grandchildren Theodore Filicko, Warren Dykes, IV, Andrea Millman, Scott Rush, Jr., Dakari Dykes, Damon Martin, Jr., and Ava Martin; five brothers and three sister, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter Chelsie Scheureman and a brother Billy Busch.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 12:30pm at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Tim Phillips officiating. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the service.
