Teresa Anne Davis' Obituary
Teresa Anne Davis of Cordova, MD passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, November 14, 2025 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 47 years old.
Teresa was born in Chestertown, MD on December 28, 1977. She was the daughter of Mary (McClain) Bramble and was a graduate of Queen Anne's County High School. Later Teresa used her loving personality in health care where she provided direct care and support to those with developmental disabilities. She had to retire early due to her health difficulties. In 2016 Teresa married her husband Alan Davis and they made their home in Cordova, MD.
In her free time Teresa bowled in leagues and in her youth competed in tournaments. She rooted on her Orioles and Ravens in good times and in bad. Teresa was a true Eastern Shore Girl who loved fishing, crabbing, and spending time at the beach. Pets were very important to Teresa and she doted on her dogs Maverick and Tank, and her cat Clyde. It was family though that was most important to Teresa, and she looked forward with great anticipation to family dinners on Sundays that were even better in the summer because they could be enjoyed by the pool.
Left to mourn Teresa are her husband Alan; her son Jonathan Alleger; her daughter Sierra Wilson and son-in-law Jordan Wilson; her younger daughter Jordyn Davis; her mother and step-father Mary and Gary Bramble; her cousins who were like siblings Louis Walls, Melanie Walls and their four children; her "favorite" father-in-law and mother-in-law Keith and Veronica "Ronnie" Davis; her brother-in-law Bradley Davis; and her sister-in-law Colleen Davis.
Preceding Teresa in death were her grandparents Ray Henry and Florence McClain; and her aunt and uncle Wayne and Linda Walls.
A memorial service for Teresa will be held at Fairview Church of the Brethren in Cordova, MD on Saturday, December 6, 2025 starting at 1pm. A visitation will take place one hour prior beginning at Noon. Pastor Bobby Davis will officiate.
Donations in Teresa's memory may be made to a trust fund that is being set up for her school age daughter Jordyn. Checks can be made payable to Parker Counts 129 N. Washington Street, Easton, MD 21601
