Terri Virginia Marvel's Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Terri Virginia Marvel at her home in Ridgely, MD on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. She was 65 years old. A beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Terri was born in Annapolis, MD on August 16, 1959. She was the daughter of Bernard Lee and Nellie (Wilkinson) Jones. She grew up in Lothian, MD and was a 1977 graduate of Southern High School in Harwood, MD. Terri worked most of her life as an administrative assistant in the county government and then later in the healthcare field. Terri and her adored husband Greg Marvel resided together on the Eastern Shore where they shared their love for crabbing and the simple "shore life".
Terri loved country music, crabbing, the beach, and most of all spending down time at home with her beloved dogs, Missy and Axle. But above all, family meant the world to Terri. She found great enjoyment combining the love for her grandchildren and watching them do their favorite things (playing sports, riding horses and showing cattle). She never missed the opportunity to tell anyone who would listen just how proud she was of all her grandkids. Being a "Nunie" was truly her greatest blessing in life. May Terri's smile, laughter, compassion for life and love of family continue to shine through to all who knew her.
Terri is survived by her husband of 10 years Greg Marvel, her children Edward Wagner, Jr. (Candice), Meridith Unglesbee (James, Jr.), Allisin Campbell (Robert, III); her step-children Greg, Jr. (Samantha) and Jeremy (fiancée Sadie); her grandchildren Raelynn and Riley Wagner; Andrew, Bailee and Cooper Unglesbee; and Harper, Ruby and Whittley Campbell; her mother Nellie Jones; her sister Joyce "Jobi" Ferguson (fiancé Mike); her mother-in-law Jeanne Marvel; her brother-in-law Wade Marvel (Kendra); her niece Jillian Ferguson; and her nephews Jeffrey Ferguson, Jaime Marvel (Taylor) and Donny Marvel (Ashley).
Terri was preceded in death by her father Bernard Lee Jones and her father-in-law Donald Marvel.
