Thomas Edward Robertson, Sr.'s Obituary
Thomas Edward Robertson, Sr. of Greenwood passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the Delaware Hospice in Milford. He was 77.
He was born on July 29, 1945 in Milford, Delaware the son of the late Joseph F. Robertson and Lilly Demmy Robertson.
He was married to Verda Mullett Robertson. She preceded him in death on December 21, 2013.
He worked for Baltimore Air Coil in Milford where he was fondly known as the "Fan Man". He retired after 32 years of faithful service.
He loved boats, motorcycles, old cars, old music, dancing, roller skating and playing cards. He was a jokester and loved hanging out at the West Side Diner with the old guy's and gals. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by three children: Milly Lambka, Karla Carlisle and her husband Will and Thomas "Tommy" Robertson, Jr and his fiancée Christina Rains all of Greenwood; six granddaughters: Ashley, Jerrica, Faith, Hannah, Lilly and Ariel; one grandson: Ricky; six great-grandchildren; three siblings: Paul Robertson of Milford, Linda Wilder of Maryland and Sandra Butler of Milford; and five half siblings: David Robertson, Eddie Robertson, Kevin Robertson, Karen Mikulla, and Billy Robertson all of Pennsylvania.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Alan (Dean) Robertson; and one half-brother: Joseph Robertson.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 12:00 at Tressler Mennonite Church in Greenwood with Pastor Jerry Schrock officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining church yard. The family will receive friends on Friday evening April 7 from 6:00 to 8:00 and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
