Thomas Ray Williamson's Obituary
Thomas Ray Williamson of Federalsburg died at Easton Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. He was 69.
He was born on August 27, 1943 in Easton, MD the son of the late Leon Williamson and Louise Howard Williamson of Seaford, DE. He was preceded in death by his first wife Paulette Wright Williamson. He served in the U. S. Army for 8 years last serving with the 32nd Artillery Brigade. He worked as a truck driver and worked for Paul Wooten Farms, Wheatley Neal and Glacier Refrigeration. He loved the outdoors, animals of all kinds and had a knack for being able to repair just about anything mechanical. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Marie Jankowski Williamson, a daughter, Gina Ray Chambers and her husband, Robert of Dover, DE, a granddaughter, Gabrielle Frances Shanehsaz of Dover, a great-grandson, Jaden Allen Moore of Dover, a stepson, Shane Ross of Linwood, PA, a step-granddaughter, Harley Jade Ross, two sisters, Eleanor Wooten and her husband Paul of Galestown, MD and Frances Ruark and her husband Ronnie of Seaford, a brother, James Williamson of Baltimore and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for him will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home, P. A. in Federalsburg, MD with Rev. George Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. The family has requested that donations be made in his memory to The American Lung Association 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest Suite 800 Washington D. C. 20004.
