Thomas "Tim" Lee Langford's Obituary
Thomas “Tim” Lee Langford of East New Market, Maryland passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at his home. He was 87.
He was born on June 26, 1923, the son of the late Eva Sellers. He was married to the former Edith LaVerne Kraft who preceded him in death on June 13, 2010. He had worked most of his life as a truck driver and later worked for Hastings Garage in Secretary, Maryland. He was a proud supporter for many Eastern Shore Fire Companies. He enjoyed working in his garden and visiting the East New Market Store to see his friends.
He is survived by one sister, Betty Hastings of Salisbury, Maryland, sister-in-law Sally Jane Hessler and her husband George of East New Market, nieces Donna Bailey and her husband Wayne of Federalsburg, Brenda Era and her husband Harvey of East New Market, MD, and his angels of care including caretaker Deborah Humphreys of Reid’s Grove, MD, and many other nieces and nephews, and his beloved cats Angel, Boots, Lucy, Maggie, Slim Jim and New Cat.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 2:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with the Rev. Ruth Tull officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 on Tuesday.
