Timothy D. Cole's Obituary
Timothy D. Cole of Stafford, VA, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. He was 58.
He was born Oct. 26, 1954 in Trinidad, British West Indies, the son of the late Bernice May Matthews Kolias.
Mr. Cole worked as a HVAC Specialist for several companies. He served his country in the United States Army for 11 years obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. His military tours included Germany, Korea, and the Gulf War. He was a member of the Steamfitters Local # 602, the American Legion Post 290 in Stafford, VA, the Hog Riders and the Legion Riders. He has also served as a mentor for Alcoholics Anonymous with 21 years of sobriety which was celebrated in January 2013. He was also a member of the Virginia Defense from 2007 to present, serving as 1st Sergeant.
He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly A. Cutchin and her husband Richard of Federalsburg, MD and Samantha J. Bleck of Eau Claire, WI, a granddaughter, Harleigh R. Cutchin of Federalsburg, MD, a brother Robert Cole and his wife Barbara of Cambridge, MD, two sisters, Sheila Rosenberg and her husband Jan of Sandy Spring, MD and Mary Mostrom of Logan, UT, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Framptom Funeral Home, Federalsburg, MD at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, MD. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Stafford, VA.
