Toni Lyn Gehman's Obituary
Toni Lyn Gehman of Bridgeville, DE passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 57.
She was born on November 12, 1966 in Easton, PA, the daughter of the late Robert Bryfogle and Shirley Allen Bryfogle of Bridgeville, DE.
Toni graduated from Greenwood Mennonite School with the class of 1984. She married Brad Gehman on February 23, 1991 and they made their home in Bridgeville.
Over the years, Toni worked at the Harrison House and was a caretaker; but her joy was found at home raising her family and children. She loved to work in her flowerbeds and garden but food was her love language. She took great joy in cooking and baking for her family and friends. She served most all of her life at Greenwood Mennonite Church where she was on the hospitality committee. She loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Brad Gehman of Bridgeville, three sons: Anthony Gehman and his wife Whitney of Greenwood, Caleb Gehman of Bridgeville and Riley Gehman and his wife Catrine of Denmark; two grandchildren and a third on the way: Ezekiel Gehman and Ezra Gehman; her mother Shirley Allen Bryfogle of Bridgeville; five siblings: Patti Davidson and her husband Lyle of Defuniak Springs, FL, Robert Bryfogle of Austin, TX, Karl Bryfogle and Tammi Kauffman and her husband Willard all of Harrington and a brother Dennis Bryfogle and his wife Kim of Greenwood.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter Ahsya Gehman and a sister Amy Bryfogle.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 11:00 at Greenwood Mennonite Church. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00.
