Valerie A. Blake's Obituary
Valerie Ann Daniels Blake, age 56, earned her wings Sunday, December 12, 2021. She was born in Elizabethtown, KY, to her loving mother Wanda June Daniels. Valerie went to East Hardin High School and graduated in 1983.
After high school she attended Louisville College of Dentistry to become a dental assistant.
Valerie married Franklin C. Blake in November of 1992. In 1995, their daughter Jessica was born. Frank sadly passed away in September of 2008.
Valerie had many hobbies including horses, gardening and she loved birds.
On July 8, 2018 she married Kevin Smith. They were only married a few short wonderful years before she gained her wings.
Valerie and Kevin loved traveling together, they loved going to the beach and many other places together. Valerie will be greatly missed by her loving friends and family.
She is survived by her husband Kevin Smith, her daughters Jessica (Wade) Wagner and Sarah Priddy, her brothers, James Bennett and Glenn Wayne Hall, her sisters Angie and Alison King and one grandson Jakob Paul Embry.
She was preceded in death by her mother Wanda June Daniels, a great-grandmother Bessie McMillen, and husband Franklin C. Blake.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Framptom Funeral Home- Fleischauer Chapel, 16 W. Market St., Greenwood, DE.
Her funeral service will be in Elizabethtown, KY on January 2, 2022 and will be laid to rest in the Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff on January 3, 2022 at 2:30 p.m.
