Vickie Sue Plutschak's Obituary
Vickie Sue Plutschak of Preston, MD passed away on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011
at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was 46.
She was born March 19, 1964 in Easton, MD, the daughter of James Burklew of Rehoboth, DE and the late Katherine Donovan Burklew.
Vickie graduated from Colonel Richardson High School Class of 1982. She had previously been employed for Maryland Plastics for 13 years. Vickie was an active facebook contributer, a large frog collector, and loving grandmother.
Besides her father, James Burklew, she is survived by her husband of 27 years,
Alan Lee Plutschak, Sr. whom she married on March 19, 1983, a son Alan Lee Plutschak, Jr. (Wanda), a daughter Stacey Nicole Plutschak, all of Preston, grandson Cody Ray Plutschak of Preston, two brothers Dennis F. Fishell (Karen) of Federalsburg, Ronnie Burklew, Sr. (Christina) of Preston, a sister Terry Fishell King (Billy) of Delmar, DE, many nieces and nephews, in-laws Sue and John Moran of Seaford, DE, Trudy Lane (Steve) of Seaford, and Valerie Nickerson (Danny) of Federalsburg, and a faithful cat named Sammy.
Funeral services will be held on Monday Feb. 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Framptom
Funeral Home with Rev. Denzil Cheek and Rev. Howard “Buddy” Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
