Vincent Louis "Vinnie" Thompson's Obituary
Vincent Louis Thompson, known fondly as “Vinnie” passed away on Friday, July 20, 2007 in Federalsburg. He was 18 years old.
He was born in Cheverly, Maryland, son of Vincent Rodney Thompson of Brandywine, MD, and Kathleen “Kathy” N. Shanahan Blades of Preston.
He graduated from Colonel Richardson High School class of 2007. He played varsity footlball at Colonel Richardson and was on the honor roll. He loved art, in which he loved to draw, especially graphic drawing and was awarded a college scholarship for his talents in art. He recently had won an art award from the Denton Library this past June. He had previously worked for Acme in Easton and was currently working for Bob Evans Restaurant.
Besides his parents he is survived by his step-father, Michael Blades, his step-mother, Sharon Thompson, three sisters, Sarah Thompson and her fiancée Asa Neuwiller of Preston, Marie Duffy of Croften, Jessica Thompson of Brandywine, a brother, Matthew Thompson of Brandywine, three step-sisters, Paula Lynn Samual of Denton, Lisa Edwards of Chapelgate, MD, Melanie Duvall of Jessup, MD, a paternal grandfather, William Thompson of Waldorf, three nieces, Tori, Alisha, Tisha, six nephews, Jamal, A.J., Michael, David, Brandon, and Timothy. He was preceded in death by a step-sister, Samia Roper.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 3 pm at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Pastor John Ledger officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 -3 pm on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Junior Order Cemetery.
