Virgil Lamar Miller's Obituary
Virgil Lamar Miller of Dover passed away at Bay Health at Milford Hospital on Thursday, November 28, 2024. He was 70.
He was born on August 22, 1954 in Milford, the son of the late Ammon Miller and Jean E. Riehl Miller Moore.
After high school, Virgil became a brick mason and worked for many years in the construction industry with Miller Brothers and Nanticoke Homes. He later logged with his brother Bruce.
He was married to Shari Calhoun Miller. She preceded him in death.
Virgil attended Calvary Wesleyan Church in Harrington for many years. He enjoyed southern gospel music and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his brother Bruce Miller and his wife Ellie of Denton, and a sister Peggy Mast and her husband Gene of Greenwood and several nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 12:00 at Living Hope Fellowship Church in Greenwood with Pastor Caleb Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00. Burial will be private.
