Virginia May Hopkins' Obituary
Virginia May Hopkins of Preston, Maryland passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at her home. She was 78.
She was born on February 24, 1944 in Harrington, Delaware the daughter of the late Howard Kemp and Nora Wilson (Bozman).
She graduated from Easton High School (1962.) She worked at Acme markets, Easton corrections and St.Benedictine school. In her free time she loved bowling, working with ceramics, and was active in the Preston Vol. Fire Department ladies Auxiliary. She attended Talbot Evangelistic Church.
She is Survived by her daughter: Sandra Errickson (Alan Conaway) of Easton, a granddaughter Heather Errickson (Serug Phoenix) of Preston, and four great grandchildren: Cameron Erickson, Zoey Errickson, Kayla Williams and Zachary Phoenix Errickson
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Howard Wayne Kemp, a nephew Howard Wayne Kemp, Jr. a niece Lisa Kemp and a great granddaughter Taylor Errickson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 10:00 at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock. Because of cemetery regulations, please do not arrive prior to the service time as you will not be permitted to enter.
