Virginia Wright Rosser's Obituary
Virginia Wright Rosser formally of Federalsburg passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Northpointe Retirement Community, Arbor House “B” in Spokane, Washington. She was 90.
She was born on November 27, 1919 in Federalsburg, Maryland the daughter of the late Robert E. Wright, Sr., and Eunice Todd Wright.
She was married to Everett E. Rosser on August 9, 1940. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2007. After her husband passed away, she went to live with her daughter Eleanor and son-in-law Jerry in Chattaroy, Washington. She had worked for many years as a nutrition advisor and doing home shopping for those who needed help with their households, and would deliver items to area residents to enable them to remain in their homes. She enjoyed cooking wonderful family dinners, traveling to visit her daughters and their families, taking care of her flower gardens, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Eleanor R. Wilson and her husband Jerry of Chattaroy, WA, Penny Reeder and her husband Carl of Montgomery Village, MD, and Amy Rosser and her husband Nat Gunod of Northfield, CT, seven grandchildren, Katrina, Alex, Zach, Casey, Molly, Seth and Anna, and four great grandchildren, Amanda, Olivia, Maya, and Nicco, two brothers, H. Louis Wright of Seaford, DE and Dale Wright of Federalsburg, and three sisters-in-law, Catherine Wright of Preston, Virginia Wright of Seaford, DE, and Linda Rosser of Federalsburg and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 sisters, Doris Wolter, Ann Spalding, Phyllis Kennedy and 2 brothers, Robert E., Jr. and Eugene.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 11:00a.m. at Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg with the Rev. Karen Bongard officiating.
