Walter L. Young's Obituary
Walter Lee Young "Fats", a resident of St. Michaels, MD., passed away on February 16, 2023 after a short illness at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, MD. at the age of 57.
Fats worked as a utility person at the Miles River Yacht Club and had his own grass cutting business until he fell ill. He will be truly missed zooming around in his beloved Lexus and work truck.
He so loved his job at the Yacht Club. A special thank you to his work family. He loved you all.
Fond remembrance of Walter "Fats" life will be cherished by one son Zymez Young of St. Michaels. One special daughter Denera Brown of Federalsburg. One sister Sharon Young of Easton. One brother Lester Young of Salisbury. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Walter was preceded in death by: his mother Myrtle Horsey, his father Robert Seaman, his two brothers Richard Young and Wayne Young, four uncles Albert Young, Charles Young, Maurice Young, and Leon Haines, four aunts Mildred Young, Helen Holmes, Elizabeth Wilson and Arnita Robinson.
A memorial service will be held at the Framptom Funeral Home -Ostrowski Chapel 312 S. Talbot Street St. Michaels, MD; on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 12:00 noon
