Walter "Jimmy" Eugene Bolden's Obituary
Walter Eugene Bolden, known fondly as “Jimmy” passed away at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. He was 60.
He was born June 10, 1952 in Federalsburg, Maryland, the son of the Jean N. Bolden of Federalsburg and the late Phillip Thomas Ricketts.
He had worked at Federalsburg Elementary School for over twenty years in the custodial department and also had worked at Solo Cup Company in Federalsburg. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Federalsburg.
He enjoyed going fishing, watching wrestling and football and loved his team the Ravens.
Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, Patricia Roxanne Savoy Bolden, a son, Thaddaeus “Man” Bolden of Federalsburg and his girlfriend, Terretta “Biscuit” Lassiter of Bridgeville, a daughter, Shandra “Missy” Beulah of Federalsburg, a brother, Donald Thomas and his wife Renaye of Preston, a sister, Sandy Thomas of Federalsburg, a step-sister, Beatrice Craft of Federalsburg, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Delores and Janill Hill of Federalsburg, two sisters-in-law, Paris Twyman of Federalsburg and Nadean Hill of Seaford, a brother-in-law Damian Hill of Seaford and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Ricketts and Lynn Bolden and a step-sister, Ella Darden.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Interment will follow at Federal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
