Wanda Jean Smith's Obituary
Wanda Jean Smith of Greenwood died on Wednesday, September 25,2024 at Bay Health Sussex, in Milford. She was 68.
Born on July 15, 1956 in Milford, DE she was the daughter of the late Harold Venable and Joan Dean Venable. She grew up in the Farmington area and in 1974 she graduated from Woodbridge High School in Bridgeville, DE. Wanda worked for more than 28 years for Chesapeake Publishing before retiring. After her retirement she took a position at Walmart in Milford until leaving for health reasons.
Wanda is survived by her beloved husband; Warren H. Smith of Greenwood, one brother; Harold Venable II of Georgetown, DE. two Step Children; Thomas W. Smith (Miranda) and Harmony Green. Also many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at the Framptom Funeral Home-Fleischauer Chapel At 12:00 Noon on Wednesday October 2, 2024, where a viewing will be held from 11:00 until 12:00. Burial will follow in the McColley's Chapel Cemetery, Georgetown.
